Heletranz’ City Spectacular flight departs from the Albany heliport to over-fly the North Shore. The flight continues past the Harbour Bridge, Upper harbour towards Point Chevalier, Auckland Zoo, Mt Eden and Eden Park. Auckland is sited on the remnants of 60 Volcanoes, visible en-route is a ring of prominent volcanic cones including Rangitoto Island which erupted a mere 700 years ago.We over-fly Auckland’s central business district and Viaduct Harbour, and past Sky Tower, the most prominent man made feature on Auckland’s skyline. The flight then tracks across the Waitemata Harbour to the Devonport Naval Base, North Head and Rangitoto Island, east coast beaches and their multi-million houses before returning to the heliport. The Auckland Spectacular scenic flight takes approximately 20 minutes and is Auckland’s most popular helicopter scenic flight.
